A spirit that rules fire, one of the six elements created by the gods. The fire on its head is said to lead those who are lost and it is thought of as a protector of travelers. Conversely, it often appears at the scenes of fires, so some consider it an ill omen as well. Legend also speaks of its ability to awaken dormant power within others.
